Linda Routledge

Principal Osteopath MOst, BSc, ND

“I strongly believe all of us deserve a friendly practitioner who can help! It’s as simple as that.”

Linda pursued osteopathy following a successful 7 year career in healthcare marketing. With a desire to help people directly, and having experienced successful treatment at the hands of an osteopath herself, Linda took the plunge to follow her dreams and change her career.

Linda’s approach to treatment is primarily structural though she is particularly interested in women’s health and neurology, using various techniques to stimulate the nervous system and ultimately reduce pain. Linda strongly believes that helping patients to understand their pain strengthens their recovery and reduces the possibility of problems recurring.

An enduring desire to learn has drawn Linda to continue her professional development and training,. Linda is currently working towards her Women’s Health Diploma, and has completed courses in running injuries, functional neurology and medical acupuncture with the British Medical Acupuncture Society.

Outside of working hours Linda is a keen runner, skier and bookworm but has also enjoyed learning all variety of unusual sports including qualifying as a skydiver several years ago.  She is especially interested in foreign travel and has been fortunate to have extended trips to several countries including Malaysian Borneo, Kenya, and Australia, which included mountain climbing, jungle trekking and scuba diving.  However, Linda’s most challenging adventure so far has been that of motherhood, following the birth of her young son 11 years ago!

Kelly Thomas

Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist Dip SMRT, MSMA

Having spent the best part of a decade in management consultancy, Kelly realised she could apply the same principles underpinning her commercial expertise in a field that meant so much more to her personally.

By qualifying as a Soft Tissue Therapist, she successfully brought her professional and personal worlds closer together, combining her existing knowledge and experience with a new set of specific skills to help clients achieve a whole range of individual goals, whether that be developing optimal sporting performance or simply enabling people to move around more easily and without pain.

All too often, clients, friends and acquaintances tell her they feel ‘too old’ or ‘broken’. Kelly’s passion lies in showing them that they don’t have to accept pain and sub-standard performance as the norm. By getting to the root cause of the problem, she endeavours to help them re-set their bodies and move to a state of pain-free movement and resilient performance.
